Kirk is the "purple boy " from our Dixie/Steeler litter. He lives with Ann and Mike Lynn, their 2 kids, and a female Gordon Setter. Ann's original plans for Kirk were for dual careers in obedience and fieldwork, but for now at least she has definitely been bitten hard by the field bug. Kirk is the first dog she has trained and shown in field work, and his aptitude and enjoyment for the sport have lured her further and further down this path. We're looking forward to seeing how far they go in this venue as well as in other pursuits. We predict wonderful things from this team in the future. Ann writes that Kirk is an outstanding marking dog with an incredibly flashy water entry. He has the forgiving nature and strong desire to please that are the hallmarks of a true Golden temperment, plus the added gifts of confidence and style.

Kirk's accomplishments include:

• JH completed summer of 2005 at about 15 months old
• WC earned summer of 2005 at about 15 months old
• WCX earned 7/30/06 on first attempt
• CCA awarded 4/22/07
• CD completed 7/28/07; title earned in three straight legs with 2 first places
• SH completed 9/22/07; title earned in 5 tests completely owner trained and handled by his mom, Ann. Kirk is the first dog she has ever trained for field...good job, Kirk and Ann!
